A little end of chapter snippet from my work in progress:
Darkness and destruction come when idleness is at its peak. Ye caretakers must assume responsibility of that which ye are steward over. Guard and protect over that with which ye are charged. When one sits by and watches the darkness enter, the balance shifts and we lose grip of that which is most precious – the sanctity of life. – The Dark World of the Lugabrich

Twas moments before Christmas,
And all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring,
Except for the hound.
Sleep doesn’t come,
The drugs won’t kick in,
Those minutes they pass,
They’re slow, oh the pain!
Then what with my wondering eyes do I see?
A Christmas movie to entertain me.
Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, a classic to watch,
White Christmas is playing, really top notch.
Oh the weather outside is mildly so-so,
Is it too much, to ask for some snow?
A white Christmas morning filled with magic,
It makes it so special, wonderful, fantastic.
It’s been far too long since I saw this flick,
I settle right down and wait for St. Nick,
I wish you a joyous and Merry Christmas,
Full of happiness, hugs and kisses.

Ok, Here goes.
I’m not good at this self promotion thing, never really have been. However, I’m going to try anyway. If you enjoy reading my musings, poetry, and stories here, please consider subscribing to my Patreon.
I’m new to Patreon and I’m doing my best to build a subscriber list. It only costs $1/Month to subscribe to my short stories. They are completed stories that I only post there. I’ve posted excerpts of them here on my blog.
So, if you’re interested in reading full length stories, my Patreon is the place. I post at least one per month.
Thank you for your constant support. It means a lot.
